The first Chinese essay competition for Japanese jointly sponsored by
Journal of Chinese in Japan and Japan-China Communication Institute held
an awarding ceremony in the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan on the
afternoon of Mar. 27th. At the ceremony, on behalf of Chinese ambassador
Wang Yi, Yu Shuyuan, Chinese Consul-General in Japan, granted the title
of "Chinese messenger" to award winners Uehara Asami (student group) and
Nakagawa Tomomi (non-student group).
